During the COVID-19 lockdown, in April 2020, my study association sent out a challenge every day. I participated in some of them ("Gezonde boterham" under Peculiar Stuff is another submission). On the 9th there was one that took me a lot of time: creating a self-portrait. I didn't know how I would do it at first, but I had decided I wouldn't try to do it on paper, as my motorics aren't great. When I went upstairs to start, I decided that I would make it on our Atari STE. :)
This was done in DEGAS Elite, which is software for Atari ST, and as such I could not make use out of the extra 3 bits for colours. It was made on the low (320x200) resolution, so I could have a 16 colour colour palette. I spent 2.5 hours in total on this and it turned out way above my expectations. :)

It's not perfect of course, but I think the proportions are kind of right, and moreover: if you'd know me, you would certainly recognise me!
